Tanterton
Ingol is an electoral ward and suburb of Preston, Lancashire, England. The population of the Ward as taken at the United Kingdom Census 2011, 2011 census was 7,369. The ward also includes the district of Tanterton. The ward is coterminous with the civil parishes in England, civil parish of Ingol and Tanterton, created in 2012. With a golf course within its boundaries and continued new housing development, the area is suburban in its northern and central areas with a more significant low income housing area in its eastern part. Ingol and Tanterton straddle the historic boundary between the former County Borough of Preston and Fulwood Urban District. Preston Bus is a bus operator running services in the city of Preston and surrounding areas of Lancashire. It is a subsidiary of Rotala, who purchased Preston Bus from the Stagecoach Group on the orders of the Competition Commission in 2011. Tulketh is an electoral ward in Preston, Lancashire, England. The Tulketh Mill is a notable landmark in the ward. Tulketh returns three members to Preston City Council, elected 'in thirds' in first past the post elections each year. The ward is currently represented by three Labour councillors. Council elections for the City of Preston, Lancashire were held on 22 May 2014 as part of the 2014 United Kingdom local elections. The elections were moved from earlier on in May to coincide with the North West component of the 2014 European Parliament election. Wyre (borough)
Wyre is a local government district with borough status on the coast of Lancashire, England. The council is based in Poulton-le-Fylde and the borough also contains the towns of Cleveleys, Fleetwood, Garstang, Preesall and Thornton, along with numerous villages and surrounding rural areas. Some of the borough's built-up areas form part of the wider Blackpool urban area. Eastern parts of the borough lie within the Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
