In geometry, parallel lines are coplanar infinite straight line (geometry), lines that do not intersecting lines, intersect at any point. Parallel planes are plane (geometry), planes in the same three-dimensional space that never meet. Avinguda del Paral·lel (; 'Avenue of the Parallel') is one of the main streets of the city of Barcelona, dividing Ciutat Vella, Eixample and Sants-Montjuïc districts.
