Stockland Wetherill Park (known as “Stockies” to locals) is a shopping mall in Wetherill Park, Sydney, Australia. Being an indoor and outdoor shopping centre, it is 47th-largest by area in the country. Costing $142 million to build, the centre was established in 1983 and has been through four phases of redevelopment, with the major one completed in September 2016, where it had undergone a $228 million renovation with some of retail space. Features The shopping centre features Coles, Woolworths, Big W, Kmart, JB Hi-Fi, Angus & Coote and 200 specialty stores, including over 20 fashion stores. Transit Systems NSW, previously known as Transit Systems Sydney, is a bus operator in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is a subsidiary of Transit Systems. History In November 2012, Transit Systems was awarded a contract by Transport for NSW to operate region 3 bus services in Western Sydney, taking over services operated by Busabout, Hopkinsons, Metro-link and Westbus. Transit Systems also took over route T80 on the Liverpool–Parramatta T-way from Western Sydney Buses. Operations commenced on 13 October 2013. On 1 July 2018, Transit Systems took over the operation of region 6 from State Transit on an eight-year contract operating services in the Canterbury-Bankstown, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, North Shore and St George regions. North-West T-way
The North-West T-way is a continuous series of bus-only lanes and bus roadways between Parramatta, Blacktown and Rouse Hill in Western Sydney. Opened in stages between March and November 2007, the T-way was the second bus rapid transit route to be built in Sydney after the Liverpool–Parramatta T-way. Alignment The T-way follows Old Windsor Road north from Westmead Hospital. At Memorial Avenue, Kellyville, New South Wales, Kellyville, the route branches, with one branch continuing north along Old Windsor and Windsor Road, Windsor roads to Rouse Hill Town Centre and the other heading west along Sunnyholt Road to Blacktown. The alignment includes 10 new bridges and two new underpasses. Three of the T-way's 24 route-kilometres are bus lanes on existing roads. Orphan School Creek (Fairfield)
Orphan School Creek is a tributary of Prospect Creek (New South Wales), Prospect Creek and is located entirely within the City of Fairfield. As the name suggests, Orphan School Creek was named after an orphan school in the area. Part of the Georges River and Botany Bay Catchment, it is a tidal creek that flows east into Prospect Creek, rising and falling with the tide from the Georges River. It features a variety of fish, native animals (including birds), also native trees and shrubs.
