''Körfuboltakvöld'' (English: Basketball Night), known as ''Bónus's Körfuboltakvöld'' for sponsorship reasons, is the postgame show for '' Úrvalsdeild karla'' and '' Úrvalsdeild kvenna'' broadcasts. Originally known as ''Domino's Körfuboltakvöld'', the program featured hosts Kjartan Atli Kjartansson and Pálína Gunnlaugsdóttir with analysts Hermann Hauksson, Sævar Sævarsson, Kristinn Friðriksson, Fannar Ólafsson and Teitur Örlygsson, with supporting or fill-in analysts including Benedikt Guðmundsson and Ágúst Björgvinsson. In October 2020, he received the Eddan award for best television material of the year in the general election of Icelandic television viewers. Kjartan Atli Kjartansson
Kjartan Atli Kjartansson (born 23 May 1984) is an Icelandic sports TV and radio show host, basketball coach and former player. He hosted Stöð 2 Sport's '' Domino's Körfuboltakvöld'' (English: Domino's Basketball Night) from 2015 to 2023 and was the host of the morning radio show Brennslan on FM957 from 2014 to 2020. He played basketball for several season in the Úrvalsdeild karla and won the Icelandic Basketball Cup three times as a member of Stjarnan, in 2009 and 2013 as a player and in 2015 as an assistant coach. Early life Kjartan was born in Reykjavík and grew up in Hafnarfjörður and later Álftanes. Hermann Hauksson
Hermann Hauksson (born 24 January 1972) is an Icelandic former basketball player and a former member of Icelandic national team. He played the majority of his career in the Úrvalsdeild karla with KR and Njarðvík but also played in Belgium for Sint-Niklaas. In 1997, he was named the Úrvalsdeild karla Domestic Player of the Year. In 1999, he won the Icelandic Cup with Njarðvík after scoring the game-tying three pointer that sent the game to overtime. Finnur Freyr Stefánsson (born 29 October 1983) is an Icelandic professional basketball coach. Pavel Ermolinskij (born 25 January 1987) is an Icelandic basketball coach and former player of Russian descent, a member of the Icelandic national team.
