Fannar Ólafsson
Fannar Ólafsson (born 20 November 1978) is an Icelandic basketball analyst on Stöð 2 Sport's '' Domino's Körfuboltakvöld'' (English: Domino's Basketball Night) and a former basketball player. He went five times to the Úrvalsdeild finals, as a member of Keflavík and KR, and won the national championships each time. He won the Icelandic Basketball Cup in 2004 and 2011. During the 2004–2005 season, Fannar played with Doukas B.C. and Ratiopharm Ulm. The KR men's basketball team, commonly known as KR or KR Basket, is a professional basketball club based in Reykjavík, Iceland. It is the men's basketball department of Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur (English: Reykjavík Football Club) multi-sport club. ''DV'' (''Dagblaðið Vísir'') is an online newspaper in Iceland published by Torg ehf. It came into existence as a daily newspaper in 1981 when two formerly independent newspapers, Vísir and Dagblaðið, merged. Early on it was one of the largest newspapers in Iceland and at one point had a 64% readership in Iceland. In the 1990s its readership started to dwindle and in 2003 its publisher was declared bankrupt. It was resurrected a week later by the publisher of Fréttablaðið. Reykjanesbær () is a municipality on the Southern Peninsula (''Suðurnes'') in Iceland, though the name is also used by locals to refer to the suburban region of Keflavík and Njarðvík which have grown together over the years.
