Kaṇāda
Kaṇāda (, ), also known as Ulūka, Kashyapa, Kaṇabhaksha, Kaṇabhuj was an ancient Indian natural scientist and philosopher who founded the Vaisheshika school of Indian philosophy that also represents the earliest Indian physics. Estimated to have lived sometime between 6th century to 2nd century BCE, little is known about his life. His traditional name "Kaṇāda" means "atom eater", and he is known for developing the foundations of an atomistic approach to physics and philosophy in the Sanskrit text ''Vaiśeṣika Sūtra''. Kanada (, (ISO 15919/IAST: ''Kānaṛā rāgaṅg'' Hindi: कान्हड़ा,Tamil: கானடா, Kannada: ಕಾನಡ, Bengali: কানাড়া)) also known as Kanhada is a group of ''raga''s in Indian Classical Music . They are all believed to be derived from the Carnatic music raga Kanada. Some scholars suggest that all the raga's in the Kanada family are derived from individual aspects of Kanada. Shudda Kanada/Darbari Kanada is one of the most familiar raga's in the family and is considered to have the highest romantic,melancholy and longing aspect of Kanada in it. Ragas in this group belong to different thaats, but particularly to the Asavari or Kafi thaat. is a passenger railway station located in the town of Fukuchi, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the third-sector railway operator Heisei Chikuhō Railway. On 1 April 2009, two local onsen operators, Fujiyunosato and Hinōnoyu-Onsen, acquired naming rights to the station. Therefore, the station is alternatively known as . Kanada Warehouses, Auschwitz
The ''Kanada'' warehouses, also known as ''Effektenlager'' or simply ''Kanada'', were storage facilities in the Auschwitz concentration camp in German-occupied Poland during the Holocaust. The buildings were used to store the stolen belongings of prisoners, mostly Jews who had been murdered in the gas chambers on arrival. The property of prisoners registered in the camp and used as slave labour was kept on deposit. The warehouses became known as "''Kanada''" (or "Canada") because the prisoners saw them as the land of plenty. Although the name began as prisoner slang, it was apparently adopted by some of the camp administration. Prisoners who worked there were known as the ''Aufräumungskommando'' ("clearing-up commando") or ''Kanada Kommando''. It was viewed as one of the best jobs in Auschwitz, because prisoners could "organize", in camp slang, and procure goods for themselves and other inmates.
