Ioana Stănciulescu
Ioana Andreea Stănciulescu (born 18 February 2004) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She competed as a junior from 2017 to 2019. Stănciulescu won the floor exercise at the 2018 European Championships. She was the 2019 European Youth Olympic Festival team and floor exercise silver medalist and uneven bars bronze medalist. At the 2019 Romanian National Championships, she won the gold medal in the all-around. Junior career 2017 In 2017, Stănciulescu made her junior elite debut, competing at the 2017 Nadia Comaneci Invitational. She was second in the all around (AA) with a score of 52.600 and helped win the team competition. Later that year she competed at the 2017 Romanian Championships. Maria Holbură
Maria Larisa Holbură (born 16 September 2000) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast. She represented Romania at the 2020 Summer Olympics and at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships. Personal life Maria Holbură was born on 16 September 2000 in Constanța. Her father, Ioan Holbură, is a former wrestler. She began gymnastics at the age of five after a coach, Sorin Bechir, held a gymnastics audition in her kindergarten class. She left her home at age twelve to train in Deva. Holbură spends her free time painting. On painting, she stated, "I like it very much, sometimes I come upset from training because I didn't get anything, but when I get to the room I start painting and I pass. It relaxes me extraordinarily." Gymnastics Floor
In gymnastics, the floor is a specially prepared exercise surface, which is considered an apparatus. It is used by both male and female gymnasts. The gymnastics event performed on the floor is called floor exercise. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is FX. A spring floor is used in all of gymnastics to provide more bounce, and also help prevent potential injuries to lower extremity joints of gymnasts due to the nature of the apparatus, which includes the repeated pounding required to train it. Gymnastics Balance Beam
The balance beam is a rectangular artistic gymnastics apparatus and an event performed using the apparatus. Both the apparatus and the event are sometimes simply referred to as "beam". The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is UB or AB, and the apparatus and event are often referred to simply as "bars". The bars are placed at different heights and widths, allowing the gymnast to transition from bar to bar. A gymnast usually adds white chalk to the hands so that they can grip the bar better. Gymnastics at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo was held in three categories: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining. 2021 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 9th European Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships were held from 21–25 April 2021 at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. The 2021 European Championships were an Olympic qualifying event, with two individual spots available for both disciplines. Russia earned a non-nominative quota spot in both disciplines, while Turkey's Adem Asil and Romania's Larisa Iordache qualified nominative berths for themselves in men's and women's artistic gymnastics, respectively. Larisa Iordache
Larisa Andreea Iordache (; born 19 June 1996) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast. She represented Romania at the 2012 Olympic Games, winning a bronze medal with the team, and at the 2020 Olympic Games. The Romanian press referred to Iordache as "The New Nadia" as early as 2008, when she was 12, due to her skills and potential. In her first year of competition as a senior, Iordache won two gold medals at the 2012 European Championships, with her team and on floor exercise. She then won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the team competition. Iordache is the 2013 World bronze medalist on floor exercise, the 2014 World silver medalist in the all-around and on floor exercise, and the 2015 World bronze medalist in the all-around.
