Atlético Independiente
Atlético Independiente is a Honduran soccer club based on Siguatepeque, Honduras. The club currently plays in Liga de Ascenso de Honduras. History Club Atlético Independiente was founded on October 12, 1960, by Luis Méndez and Julio Zepeda. The club originally played in Liga de Fútbol “Amado Sánchez”, an independent league in Siguatepeque, until 1979, when the club was promoted to Segunda Division (now called Liga de Ascenso). Since 1979, Atlético Independiente has been one of the most known and respected clubs in Liga de Ascenso. The club has come close to being promoted to Liga Nacional de Honduras in many occasions, the closest being in 1990, where it lost a playoff game for the final to Tela Timsa. Club de Alto Rendimiento Especializado Independiente del Valle, known simply as Independiente del Valle, is a professional football club based in Sangolquí Ecuador that currently plays in the Ecuadorian Serie A. Founded in 1958, the club plays its home games at Estadio Banco Guayaquil, which opened in March 2021 and has a capacity of 12,000. In the 2013 Serie A season Independiente finished runners-up and they won their first league title in 2021. Independiente Rugby Club is a Spanish amateur rugby union club based in the Cantabrian city of Santander. The club was established in 1971. Independiente plays its home matches at the Mies de Cozada, a multi-use stadium in San Román de la Llanilla. The team traditionally plays in green and white colours. Club Sportivo Independiente Rivadavia (mostly known simply as Independiente Rivadavia) is a football club from Mendoza, Argentina. The team currently plays in the Argentine Primera División, the first major league in the Argentine Football league system. Independiente is a British independent record label formed in 1997 after Andy Macdonald sold his first label Go! Discs to PolyGram in 1996 for a reported £30 million. The label, which is currently dormant, is a division of Concord Music. The label's catalogue included albums by Travis, John Martyn, Nile, Gomez, Embrace, Paul Weller and Martina Topley-Bird. In December 2013, it was confirmed that Embrace had signed to Cooking Vinyl, leaving Independiente with no current artists on its roster. The label ceased releasing music by new artists in 2009 and has subsequently transformed itself into a profitable synchronisation business, sourcing opportunities in film and advertising for its catalogue. Independiente Football Club Mutual Social y Biblioteca is a small football club in Bigand, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. The club was founded in 1919 by Italian immigrant Guglielmo Broglia as a dissident part of the already existing Sporting Club . It then quickly entered in the competitions of the local league called ''Liga Deportiva del Sur'', and won the championships of 1932, 1933, 1940, 1941, 1944, 1950, 1955, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1977 and 1999.
