Hélio José de Souza Gonçalves (born 31 January 1986), simply known as Hélio (; , ), is a professional footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, centre back for Hong Kong Premier League club. Born in Brazil, he plays for the Hong Kong national football team, Hong Kong national team. Club career Early career Hélio transferred from Santos Futebol Clube, Sántos B to Ceará Sporting Club, Ceará at the beginning of the 2006–07 season. Then, he joined Olímpia Futebol Clube, Olímpia at the beginning of the 2007–08 season without playing a single game for Ceará. He played 20 games for Olímpia, scoring 2 goals. After that, he joined Hong Kong First Division League club Citizen AA, Citizen in the winter transfer window 6 months later. Hélio José Ribeiro Pinto (born 29 February 1984) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder, currently a manager. A youth product of Benfica, he spent most of his career with APOEL in Cyprus, appearing in 276 competitive matches and winning eight major titles. Hélio Gelli Pereira (September 23, 1918 – 16 August 1994) was a Brazilian-British virologist specialising in adenoviruses. Pereira was a co-recipient of the 1988 UNESCO Carlos J. Finlay Prize for Microbiology and was known for his work on the book, ''Viruses of Vertebrates''. He contributed to several areas of virology in research and international public service. Helio Paes Pereira Junior (born 27 February 1980, in Castanhal), known as Helinho is a Brazilian former footballer who played in several Brazilian state leagues, Peruvian Primera División, USL First Division, Canadian Soccer League, and Categoría Primera A. Hélio José Muniz Filho (1977 – 14 January 2001), better known as Helinho, was a Brazilians, Brazilian vigilante murderer. He was accused of killing 65 people. He was born in Camaragibe, Pernambuco, in the Metropolitan region of Recife. In 1997, he was sentenced to 201 years in prison in Recife, Pernambuco. On 14 January 2001, 24-year-old Hélio was stabbed in the neck and arm by three inmates at the Anibal Bruno Maximum Security Prison.
