Hélio José de Souza Gonçalves (born 31 January 1986), simply known as Hélio (; , ), is a professional footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, centre back for Hong Kong Premier League club. Born in Brazil, he plays for the Hong Kong national football team, Hong Kong national team. Club career Early career Hélio transferred from Santos Futebol Clube, Sántos B to Ceará Sporting Club, Ceará at the beginning of the 2006–07 season. Then, he joined Olímpia Futebol Clube, Olímpia at the beginning of the 2007–08 season without playing a single game for Ceará. He played 20 games for Olímpia, scoring 2 goals. After that, he joined Hong Kong First Division League club Citizen AA, Citizen in the winter transfer window 6 months later. Citizen Hélio played a total of 111 league games for Citizen, scoring 10 goals in his 6-year stay at the club. Kitchee
Kitchee Sports Club (; ; ) is a Hong Kong professional Association football, football club based in Kowloon. It was founded in 1931 and currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. The club has won 12 List of Hong Kong football champions, league titles, including six Hong Kong First Division titles and six Hong Kong Premier League titles. They also won nine Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield, Senior Shields and seven Hong Kong FA Cups. The 2013–14 Hong Kong First Division League, officially named 2013–14 HKFA RedMR Hong Kong First Division League due to sponsorship reasons, is the 102nd season of the First Division League since its establishment. It will be a transition season before the new Premier League gets under way in autumn 2014. AFC Cup
The AFC Champions League Two (abbreviated as the ACL Two or ACL2) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation. It is the second-tier competition of Asian club football, ranked below the AFC Champions League Elite and above the AFC Challenge League. The competition was founded in 2004 as the AFC Cup, it was played primarily among clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots to the top-tier AFC Champions League. Hong Kong FA Cup () is a knockout cup competition in Hong Kong football, run by and named after The Hong Kong Football Association. The first edition of the competition was held in 1975, before then the cup was known as the Golden Jubilee Cup. The current season is the 51st edition of the event. 14 different teams have won the cup with 10-time champions South China being the most successful. In the first three years, the semi-finals and the finals were two-legged events. If the aggregate result was drawn, there would be extra time after the second leg. Drawn ties after extra time would be settled by a replay. However, this practice was abandoned in 1977. Since 1978, all matches have become one-legged, draws are settled by extra time and penalty shootouts. Hong Kong Football Association League Cup () was an annual football competition contested by clubs in the top-tier Hong Kong domestic football league. The cup was relaunched for the 2014–15 season after being discontinued in the 2012–13 season. However, it was discontinued again after the 2015–16 season. Format *All teams in the Hong Kong First Division League (until 2013–14 season) or Hong Kong Premier League (until 2015–16 season) are divided into 2 groups (Group A & B) in the first stage. Each team plays against all other teams in the group once.
