Halil Gür
Halil Gür (born 14 February 1951, in Karakese) is a Turkish-born Dutch writer who made his debut with his novel 'Crazy Mustafa and other stories' in 1984. He was the pioneer of a large group of Dutch writers from non-western cultures. The fact that this novel also was a sales success and won several prizes, such as the E. du Perron prize, made of Halil Gür, to cite Kader Abdolah: "a pioneer to whom other authors of non-Dutch origin have a lot to be thankful for." Abdelkader Benali wrote in the Dutch newspaper ''NRC Handelsblad''; "I discovered Halil Gür and that was a true present for me. How he writes about his childhood is beautiful and touching; everyone should read it." Ulf Kjell Gür (born 3 December 1951) is a Swedish theatre producer, filmmaker and singer-songwriter. He was artistic and managing director of Gothenburg City Theatre from 1992 to 1995, CEO at Sandrews Teater AB in 1995–1996, producer at the Royal Dramatic Theatre, Stockholm, from 1997 to 2002, and then producer at the Boulevardteatern, Stockholm, from 2002 to 2006. He has been involved in several international theatre, dance and music productions/festivals. As a singer/musician he was active in Tom Trick from 1979 to 1983, and later a founder member in the European music group NOWlab since 1985. Hayri Gür Arena
Hayri Gür Arena (), ''Pelitli Arena'' is an indoor sporting arena and multi-purpose venue located in the suburban town of Pelitli, Trabzon Province, Turkey. Construction Built between 2009 and 2010 at a cost of 23 million (approx. $ 14 million), the venue was initially designed for a seating capacity of 5,000, however, it was later extended to hold 7,500 spectators. The building has two training halls, rooms for health care, doping test and press. In addition, there are social and leisure facilities. The arena's parking lot can hold 456 cars. History In the beginning, it was called Pelitli Arena from the location of the venue. Later, the arena was renamed Hayri Gür to honor Trabzonspor's first coach and long-time board member, who died in 2010, aged 98. Events The venue is home to the basketball team of Trabzonspor Basketball. It hosted the basketball matches for boys during the 2011 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival.

TCG Gür (1936)
TCG Gür was a German-designed submarine built in 1929-30 by the Echevarrieta y Larrinaga Shipyard in Cádiz, Spain, and bought by the Turkish Navy in 1935 where it served until 1947. During its development and tests in Spain, it was designated Submarino E-1, but actually it was a prototype (lead ship) of the German Type IA submarine. Development and design The Netherlands-based NV Ingenieurskantoor voor Scheepsbouw (IvS), a subsidiary of Deutsche Schiff- und Maschinenbau AG-AG Weser, started developing in the 1920s a submarine for Germany, circumventing the Treaty of Versailles ban on submarines. The Spanish government, during General Primo de Rivera's dictatorship showed interest for such a submarine for the Spanish Navy. Several German naval officers (including Wilhelm Canaris) visited Spain and struck a deal with a Spanish businessman, Horacio Echevarrieta.
