Goran Bregović (album)
''Goran Bregović'' is a self-titled album by Bijelo dugme's frontman Goran Bregović, released in 1976 in-between the band's second (''Šta bi dao da si na mom mjestu'') and third (''Eto! Baš hoću!'') studio albums. Although the title and sleeve announce it as a solo Bregović record, album ''Goran Bregović'' is actually a conceptual smorgasbord of different new and recycled material. It consists of: * five Bregović-composed songs that were never previously released or recorded. Goran Bregović
Goran Bregović ( sr-Cyrl, Горан Бреговић; born 22 March 1950) is a recording artist born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is one of the most internationally known modern musicians and composers of the Slavic speaking countries in the Balkans, and one of the few former Yugoslav musicians who has performed at major international venues such as Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall and L'Olympia. A Sarajevo native, Bregović started out with the bands Kodeksi and Jutro, but rose to prominence as the main creative mind and lead guitarist of Bijelo Dugme, widely considered one of the most popular and influential recording acts ever to exist in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. After Bijelo Dugme split up, he embarked on several critically and commercially successful solo projects, and started composing film scores. Ipe Ivandić
Goran "Ipe" Ivandić (December 10, 1955 – January 12, 1994) was a Bosnian rock drummer, famous for his work with the band Bijelo Dugme. Early life Ivandić was born to father Josip and mother Mirjana in the central Bosnian town of Vareš where his mining engineer father had been assigned for employment by the Yugoslav communist authorities as part of the country's central economic planning. Nicknamed Ipe from an early age, the youngster was raised with an older brother and younger sister Gordana. Move to Sarajevo The family moved to Sarajevo in 1960 when Ivandić was four. Uroš Đurić
Uroš Đurić (; born 4 December 1964) is a Serbian conceptual artist, actor and Painting, painter based in Belgrade. He studied art history at the University of Belgrade University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Philosophy and painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. In 1980, he took part in Belgrade punk movement by joining Urbana Gerila as a drummer. Đurić became an active participant of the Belgrade art scene since 1989 by founding the Autonomist (anti)movement together with Stevan Markuš. In 1994 they published the “Autonomism Manifesto”. Srđan "Žika" Todorović ( sr-cyr, Срђан "Жика" Тодоровић, ; born 28 March 1965) is a Serbian actor and musician. He has played in numerous bands, including Ekatarina Velika, Disciplina Kičme, Radnička Kontrola and Bezobrazno Zeleno. Srđan is the son of Serbian actor Bora Todorović and his first wife Snežana Matić. He is married to Ana, with whom he had a son Dejan who died in late 2017 at three years of age. Srđan Dragojević ( sr-cyr, Срђан Драгојевић, , born 1 January 1963) is a Serbian film director and screenwriter, who emerged in the 1990s as a significant figure in Serbian cinema. Kosovka Djevojka
The Kosovo Maiden or Maiden of the Blackbird's Field ( sr-Cyrl-Latn, Косовка девојка, Kosovka devojka, separator=" / ") is the central figure of a poem with the same name, part of the Kosovo cycle in the Serbian epic poetry. In it, a young beauty searches the battlefield for her betrothed fiancé and helps wounded Serbian warriors with water, wine and bread after the Battle of Kosovo in 1389 between Serbia and the Ottoman Empire. She finally finds the wounded and dying warrior Pavle Orlović who tells her that her fiancé Milan Toplica and his blood-brothers Miloš Obilić and Ivan Kosančić are dead. Before the battle they had given her a cloak, golden ring and veil for the wedding as a promise of safe return, but they were slain and Pavle pointed to the direction of the bodies. Ratislav "Raša" Ðelmaš ( sr-Cyrl, Ратислав-Раша Ђелмаш; 26 January 1950 – 28 October 2021) was a Serbian and Yugoslav rock musician, best known as a member of the bands YU Grupa and Zebra. Smak ( sr-Cyrl, Смак; trans. ''The end time'') was a Serbian and SFRY, Yugoslav band from Kragujevac. The group reached the peak of popularity in the 1970s when it was one of the most notable acts of the yu rock, former Yugoslav rock scene.
