Raša Đelmaš
Ratislav "Raša" Ðelmaš ( sr-Cyrl, Ратислав-Раша Ђелмаш; 26 January 1950 – 28 October 2021) was a Serbian and Yugoslav rock musician, best known as a member of the bands YU Grupa and Zebra. Musical career Đelmaš started his career as the drummer in the band Anđeli (''The Angels''), continuing in the bands Hendriksova Deca ('' Hendrix's Children''), Mobi Dik (''Moby Dick'') and Felix. In 1972, he was a forming member of Pop Mašina, later that year he moved to Siluete, and finally to YU Grupa. With YU Grupa he recorded commercially successful and critically acclaimed albums '' YU Grupa'' (1973), '' Kako to da svaki dan?'' (1974) and '' YU Grupa'' (1975), before leaving the group and forming Zebra in 1976. With Zebra he recorded the album ''Kažu da takav je red'' (''They Say That's the Way It Should Be'', 1979), on which he played drums and keyboards and sang. Diskoton
''Diskoton'' was a major record label in SFR Yugoslavia, based in Sarajevo, Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company ceased to exist in 1992, with the outbreak of the War in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The studio was destroyed along with all master recordings. Background Company History Diskoton was formally established in 1972 in Sarajevo at the instigation of Asim Haverić, then an employee of the record label Beograd Disk (later to become Jugodisk). He persuaded Jovo Beatović, manager of the city public utility company Park in Sarajevo, to organize a record production company within his enterprise. Record production began in 1973 and Diskoton operated as a subsidiary of Park until 1977, when it became an independent company. Diskoton premises were located in Pionirska dolina, a popular city park and zoo maintained by the Park company. Zebra ( sr-cyr, Зебра) was a Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1976. Formed and led by drummer Ratislav "Raša" Đelmaš, Zebra was a prominent act of the 1970s Yugoslav rock scene. Band history 1976–1979 During the 1960s and at the beginning of the 1970s, drummer Ratislav "Raša" Đelmaš performed in the bands Anđeli (''The Angels''), Hendriksova Deca (''Hendrix's Children''), Mobi Dik (''Moby Dick'') and Felix. Siluete
Siluete ( sr-cyr, Силуете, trans. ''The Silhouettes'') were a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1961. They were one of the pioneers of the Yugoslav rock scene. Soon after the formation, Siluete, fronted by charismatic vocalist Zoran Miščević, gained the attention of the audience with their live performances. In 1963 the original members of the band departed, a part of the original lineup continuing with new members as The Shadows-inspired instrumental band, and later performing with vocalist Tomi Sovilj. In 1964 Miščević returned to Siluete, and the band soon gained nationwide fame thanks to their energetic and sometimes transgressive live performances.
