FC Nõmme United
FC Nõmme United is an Estonian professional football club based in Nõmme, a district in Tallinn. The club was founded in 2000 and currently competes in Esiliiga, the second-highest division in the Estonian football. Their home ground is Männiku Stadium. Led by Mart Poom, Nõmme United is renowned for its strong youth system. The club has competed in the Estonian top division Meistriliiga once, in 2024. History Early history (2000–2018) The club was founded in 2000 by Enn Loog and was initially named FC Elion, before the name was changed to FC Nõmme United in 2006. From early years on, Mart Poom, who at the time was playing in the Premier League, contributed to the growth of the club. After Poom's retirement, ''Mart Poomi Jalgpallikool'' (English: Mart Poom's Football School) was founded which started to act as an academy to Nõmme United. Männiku Stadium
Männiku Stadium () is a football stadium in Tallinn, Estonia, and the home of FC Nõmme United. The stadium is located about 6 km south of the city centre, in the district of Nõmme. It is part of the Männiku Football Centre. History A sports ground was located at its current location by Võidu street already in the 1930s. In the 1990s, the stadium housed the offices of the Estonian Football Association and also served as a training base for FC Flora. Randin Rande (born 28 July 1997) is an Estonian footballer and manager who plays for FC London in League1 Ontario. He previously served as head coach of Nõmme United in the Estonian top tier Meistriliiga. Early life Rande played youth football with Opera JK and Nõmme United. Club career In 2013, Rande debuted with Nõmme United in the Estonian fourth tier. In July 2013, he joined Flora, where he played with the second team in the second tier Esiliiga and the third team in the third tier Esiliiga. Andre Frolov (born 18 April 1988) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Estonian Esiliiga club Nõmme United. Since 2024, he holds the record for most appearances in Meistriliiga. Club career Flora Frolov started playing football with Flora's youth academy.
