Briseñas
Briseñas is a Municipalities of Michoacán, municipality in the Mexico, Mexican List of states of Mexico, state of Michoacán. The capital of the municipality is Briseñas de Matamoros. The population of the community according to the INEGI, is 10,653 (2010). History It was an hacienda in which the Territorial Law of September 11, 1932, granted the category of tenancy within the municipality of Vista Hermosa. During the government of Lázaro Cárdenas, General Lázaro Cárdenas, when the agrarian reform was applied and the land was distributed, the farmers of this place were given 2,726 hectares. Years later, due to the promotion carried out by Mr. José Magaña Pérez, the Congress of the State of Michoacán decreed in 1959, the formation of the municipality, elevating the town to the category of principal town, with the name of Briseñas de Matamoros. Michoacán is a state in western Mexico that is divided into 113 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican census, it is the ninth most populated state with inhabitants and the 16th largest by land area spanning . Municipalities in Michoacan are administratively autonomous of the state according to the 115th article of the 1917 Constitution of Mexico. Michoacán
Michoacán, formally Michoacán de Ocampo, officially the Free and Sovereign State of Michoacán de Ocampo, is one of the 31 states which, together with Mexico City, compose the Political divisions of Mexico, Federal Entities of Mexico. Lázaro Cárdenas
Lázaro Cárdenas del Río (; 21 May 1895 – 19 October 1970) was a Mexican army officer and politician who served as president of Mexico from 1934 to 1940. Previously, he served as a general in the Constitutional Army during the Mexican Revolution and as Governor of Michoacán and President of the Institutional Revolutionary Party.
