Michoacán
Michoacán, formally Michoacán de Ocampo, officially the Free and Sovereign State of Michoacán de Ocampo, is one of the 31 states which, together with Mexico City, compose the Political divisions of Mexico, Federal Entities of Mexico. The state is divided into 113 Municipalities of Michoacán, municipalities and its capital city is Morelia (formerly called Valladolid). The city was named after José María Morelos, a native of the city and one of the main heroes of the Mexican War of Independence. Michoacán is located in western Mexico, and has a stretch of coastline on the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. It is bordered by the states of Colima and Jalisco to the west and northwest, Guanajuato to the north, Querétaro to the northeast, State of Mexico, the State of México to the east, and Guerrero to the southeast. Municipalities Of Michoacán
Michoacán is a state in western Mexico that is divided into 113 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican census, it is the ninth most populated state with inhabitants and the 16th largest by land area spanning . Municipalities in Michoacan are administratively autonomous of the state according to the 115th article of the 1917 Constitution of Mexico. Every three years, citizens elect a municipal president (Spanish: ''presidente municipal'') by a plurality voting system who heads a concurrently elected municipal council (''ayuntamiento'') responsible for providing all the public services for their constituents. Morelia
Morelia (; from 1545 to 1828 known as Valladolid; Otomi language, Otomi: ) is a city and municipal seat of the municipalities of Mexico, municipality of Morelia in the north-central part of the state of Michoacán in central Mexico. It is both the most populous and most densely populated municipality in Michoacán. The city is in the Guayangareo Valley and is the capital and largest city of the state. The main pre-Hispanic cultures here were the Purépecha people, Purépecha and the Matlatzinca people, Matlatzinca, but no major cities were founded in the valley during this time. Cristóbal Arias Solís
Cristóbal Arias Solís (born 10 August 1954) is a Mexican lawyer and politician, belonging to the National Regeneration Movement (Morena). He has been a senator of the Republic three times: from 1988 to 1991, 1994 to 2000, and from 2018 to 2021. He also served as a federal deputy from 1982 to 1985 and from 1991 to 1994. Antonio García Conejo
Antonio García Conejo (born 5 September 1971) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD). Career García Conejo was born in Carácuaro, Michoacán, in 1971. Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla
Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla (born 22 February 1976) is a Mexican lawyer and politician. A member of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), he has served as Governor of Michoacán since 2021.
