Adana Demirspor Women's Football () is the women football section of Adana Demirspor, a major sports club based in Adana. The department was formed from the women's football department of Adana İdman Yurdu which merged with Adana Demirspor in August 2022. History Adana İdman Yurdu sports club was founded in 1993 with the women's football department. The team was promoted to the Women's First League following the 2008–09 season in the Women's Second League. In the 2010–11 season, they placed third, their best achievement so far. The team finished the 2015–16 season ranking at 7th place. They were relegated to the Second League after losing the play-out matches in the 2016–17 season. The team play in the 2021–22 season of the Women's Super League. The team is sponsored by the local securities company "Dinamik Menkul Değerler A.Ş." . Meryem Özyumşak (orn 10 November 1979) is a Turkish football manager and former footballer. She was a member of the Turkey women's U19 and Turkey national teams. Private life Meryem Özyumşak was born in Adana on 10 November 1979. After completing her education at Ondokuz Mayıs University in Samsun, she began to work as a teacher for Physical Education. Club career Inspired by her footballer brother, Özyumşak played football with boys in the school. 2019–20 Turkish Women's First Football League
The 2019–20 season of the Turkish Women's First Football League is the 24th season of Turkey's premier women's association football, women's football league. The league season started with the first week matches on 20 October 2019, and the regular season will conclude with the 22nd week matches on 3 May 2020. The number of participating teams was increased from ten to twelve again after eight seasons.
