Marlène Kasaj
Marlène Kasaj Yav (born 25 January 1996) is a DR Congolese footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for DR Congo women's football championship, LINAFF club TP Mazembe (women), TP Mazembe and the DR Congo women's national football team, DR Congo national team. Club career Kasaj has played for AC Léopards in the Republic of the Congo and for Amani in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In 2021, she moved to Turkey to join the Turkish Women's Football Super League, Turkish Women's Super League club Adana İdmanyurduspor. On 7 July 2022, she transferred to the Gaziantep-based league champion Turkish club ALG Spor. She debuted in the 2022–23 UEFA Women's Champions League on 18 August 2022. The 2024 CAF Women's Champions League was the fourth edition of the annual African premier women's association football club tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football. The tournament was hosted by Morocco from 9 to 23 November 2024. TP Mazembe defeated AS FAR 1–0 in the final, claiming their first-ever CAF Women's Champions League title, and earning a spot in the group stage of the tournament's next edition. 2021–22 Turkish Women's Football Super League
The 2021–22 Turkcell Women's Football Super League () was the inaugural season of the Turkish Women's Football Super League. The league, which started in the 2021-22 season was positioned above the Turkish Women's Football First League, which was previously the highest-level league in the women's football pyramid in Turkey. The league consists of 24 teams with addition of eight newly established women's football sides of major Süper Lig clubs to the former 16 teams of the 2020–21 Turkcell Women's Football League. Promoted eight teams are Altay, Çaykur Rizespor, Fatih Karagümrük, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Hatayspor, Sivassspor and Trabzonspor. The matches will be played in two groups of each 12 teams.
