Abdallah Aich
Abdallah Mohamad Fadel Aich (, ; born 5 October 1995) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a left-back for club Bourj. Club career Aich started his career at Mawadda Tripoli, before moving to Nejmeh's youth team. He made his Lebanese Premier League debut on 6 May 2013, in a 2–1 loss against Safa. In 2015, Aich moved to Eintracht Nordhorn in Germany, playing 25 games and scoring four. He then returned to Nejmeh in 2016, before being loaned out to Egtmaaey for one year the same year. Upon returning from loan, Aich was sold Tripoli in 2017. Having made 33 appearances in two seasons, he returned to Nejmeh in 2019. In July 2022, Aich joined cross-city rivals Ansar on a free transfer. International career Aich was called up by Lebanon U20 for the 2013 Jeux de la Francophonie. Lebanon National Football Team
The Lebanon national football team, controlled by the Lebanese Football Association (LFA), have represented Lebanon in association football since their inception in 1933. The squad is governed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) continentally, and FIFA worldwide. While Lebanon have yet to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, they have qualified three times to the AFC Asian Cup: they first participated in 2000, when they hosted the event. Lebanon's main venue is the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut; however, they also play in other locations such as the Saida Municipal Stadium in Sidon. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. 2021 Lebanese Super Cup
The 2021 Lebanese Super Cup was the 21st Lebanese Super Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Lebanese Premier League and Lebanese FA Cup. As Ansar won both competitions in 2021, their opponents were the 2020–21 league runners-up Nejmeh. The match was played at the Fouad Chehab Stadium on 7 August 2021. Ansar won their sixth title, defeating rivals Nejmeh on penalties, following a 2–2 draw after regular time. Match Summary Mahdi Zein of Nejmeh opened the scoring in the 39th minute, assisted by Khalil Bader. In the 42nd minute, Nejmeh were close to doubling the lead through a free kick by Khaled Takaji, which was saved by Ansar's goalkeeper Nazih Assaad. In the second half, despite Ansar coming close to scoring the equalizer, Nejmeh made it 2–0 in the 59th minute thanks to Takaji's goal. Lebanese Super Cup
The Lebanese Super Cup () is Lebanese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Lebanese Premier League season and the holders of the Lebanese FA Cup. If the Lebanese Premier League champions also won the Lebanese FA Cup then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture is recognized as a competitive super cup by the Lebanese Football Association and the Asian Football Confederation. Ahed and Nejmeh are the most successful clubs in the competition with eight wins each. The first matchday was played on 12 July, one day before the start of the 2021 Lebanese Challenge Cup. Shabab Sahel, the defending champions, lost to Ahed in the semi-finals.
