Lebanese Elite Cup
The Lebanese Elite Cup () was a Lebanese football annual cup competition contested by the top six teams of the previous Lebanese Premier League season. Founded in 1996 as the Super League Cup, the first edition was played by the top five finishers of the league and the Lebanese FA Cup winners. The most successful club in the competition is Nejmeh was 12 titles, followed by Ahed with six. The competition was suspended in 2023, alongside the Lebanese Challenge Cup, and was replaced by the Lebanese Federation Cup. History The competition was first played in 1996 and was contested by the top five of the league and the Lebanese FA Cup winners; it was known as the Super League Cup. The following season it was known as the Super Cup and expanded to feature the top six teams of the previous season. From 1998 until 2002 it was known as the Viceroy Cup, and in 2003 it changed again to the Prime Cup, but has always been known locally as the Elite Cup, the current name of the competition. ...

Al Ahed FC
Al Ahed Football Club () is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. The club was founded in 1964 as Al Ahed Al Jadeed, initially starting in the Third Division before reaching the Premier League for the first time in 1996. Nicknamed "the Yellow Castle" (), Ahed have won one AFC Cup title, nine Premier League titles, six FA Cup titles, two Federation Cup titles, eight Super Cup titles, and six Elite Cup titles. They secured their first league title in 2008 and have achieved three unbeaten seasons (in 2010, 2018 and 2022). 2022 Lebanese Elite Cup
The 2022 Lebanese Elite Cup was the 24th and last edition of the Lebanese Elite Cup. The competition included the six best teams from the 2021–22 Lebanese Premier League season. The first matchday was played on 27 July, one day before the start of the 2022 Lebanese Challenge Cup. Ahed won their sixth title after defeating Ansar 2–1 in the final on 20 August. 2021 Lebanese Elite Cup
The 2021 Lebanese Elite Cup was the 23rd edition of the Lebanese Elite Cup. The competition included the six best teams from the 2020–21 Lebanese Premier League season. The first matchday was played on 12 July, one day before the start of the 2021 Lebanese Challenge Cup. Shabab Sahel, the defending champions, lost to Ahed in the semi-finals. Nejmeh were crowned champions for the 12th time, after defeating Ahed in the final after penalty shoot-outs. Akhaa Ahli Aley Football Club (), commonly referred to as Akhaa Ahli Aley, Akhaa Ahli or simply Akhaa, is a football club based in Aley, Lebanon, that competes in the , and is primarily supported by the Druze community. Akhaa have played in the Lebanese Premier League since 2010–11 season, after gaining promotion from the Lebanese Second Division. They won the Lebanese Challenge Cup in 2022. The club is supported by the Lebanese MP Arkram Chehayeb, who was the key person to ratify the merging of the two clubs Ahli and Akhaa in the city of Aley.
