2023–24 Danish 3rd Division
The 2023–24 Danish 3rd Division is the 3rd season of the Danish 3rd Division since its establishment in 2021 as the new tier 4 in the Danish football league system. The season will start with a group of twelve teams. After 22 rounds the group will be split in a promotion group and a relegation group. The top two teams of the promotion group will be promoted to the 2024–25 Danish 2nd Division. The bottom three teams of the relegation group will be relegated to the 2024–25 Denmark series. Participants Frem finished the 2022–23 Danish 2nd Division in 11th place and were relegated to 3rd division. They replaced Middelfart G&BK and FA 2000 who were promoted to the 2023–24 Danish 2nd Division. Holbæk B&I, Vejgaard BK and Avarta were promoted from the 2022–23 Denmark Series. Danish 3rd Division
The 3rd Division () is the fourth tier of the Danish football league system since the 2021–22 season. It is the semi-professional association football league for men. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (DBU) as part of the nationwide football competitions and is positioned between the third-tier 2nd Division and the fifth-tier Denmark Series in the league pyramid. History In 2020, the Danish Football Association announced the creation of one new division, which would split the existing third tier 2nd Division in two, creating a new fourth tier: the 3rd Division. 2022–23 Denmark Series
The 2022–23 Denmark Series is the 58th season of the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league structure organised by the Danish FA (DBU). The season marked a transitional phase in the structure of the Danish leagues. This season, the league was divided into four groups of ten teams each. After the regular season (18 rounds), the top two teams in the four groups are promoted to the promotion group, for three spot in the Danish 3rd Division, 2023–24 Danish 3rd Division, the relegation for this season is based on which three team is relegated from the 2022–23 Danish 3rd Division depending on the teams are from east or west of the Great Belt. Espelundens Idrætsanlæg
Espelundens Idrætsanlæg is an association football facility in Rødovre, Denmark. It is the home stadium of 2nd Division club Boldklubben Avarta and lower league side Islev Boldklub, who have their club house 100 m north of the stadium. Rødovre () is a town in eastern Denmark, seat of the Rødovre Municipality, in the Capital Region of Denmark, Region Hovedstaden. TV 2 is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station, based in Odense, Funen. The station was founded in 1986, and made its first official broadcast in 1988. Jammerbugt FC
Jammerbugt Fodbold Club was a Danish club based in Pandrup, Jammerbugt Municipality, that folded after the court in Hjørring issued a bankruptcy decree on 22 August 2022. History Jetsmark IF The club was founded on 27 August 1973 as a merger between the two neighbouring clubs Kaas IF and Pandrup Boldklub. As Kaas had been playing in green shirts and Pandrup in white, the new first team shirt of course had to be a mix of those two colours.
