2022–23 Denmark Series
The 2022–23 Denmark Series is the 58th season of the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league structure organised by the Danish FA (DBU). The season marked a transitional phase in the structure of the Danish leagues. This season, the league was divided into four groups of ten teams each. After the regular season (18 rounds), the top two teams in the four groups are promoted to the promotion group, for three spot in the Danish 3rd Division, 2023–24 Danish 3rd Division, the relegation for this season is based on which three team is relegated from the 2022–23 Danish 3rd Division depending on the teams are from east or west of the Great Belt. The 2021–22 Denmark Series was the 57th season of the Denmark Series, the fifth-tier of the Danish football league structure organised by the Danish FA (DBU). The season marked a transitional phase in the structure of the Danish leagues. This season, the league was divided into four groups of ten teams each. Holbæk Bold- & Idrætsforening is a Danish football club currently playing in Danish 3rd Division. They play at Holbæk Sportsby in Holbæk on Zealand. From 2008 to 2014 their first team played under the name Nordvest FC. History The club was founded in 1931 by the merging of Holbæk Idrætsforening and Holbæk Boldklub, after a period where Holbæk Idrætsforening had some success in regional championships. The quality of the team had declined, however, since the year 1924 where some members broke out to found Holbæk Boldklub. The reason among others for that move being that cricket was still a part of the club's activities. But on 4 August 1931 the two clubs in the rather small town decided to become one – leaving cricket on the side line. Vejgaard Boldspilklub, simply known as Vejgaard B, is an association football club based in Vejgaard, a suburb of Aalborg, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system.
