2019–20 SK Slavia Prague Season
The 2019–20 season was SK Slavia Prague's 27th season in the Czech First League. Slavia successfully defended their domestic title, winning the Czech First League for the sixth time, whilst in the Czech Cup they were knocked out in the Fourth Round by Baník Ostrava. In the UEFA Champions League, Slavia finished bottom of their group, which included Internazionale, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona, with 2 points. Season events On 11 March it was announced that Slavia would play their next two matches, away to Mladá Boleslav on Saturday 14 March and at home to Jablonec on Saturday 21 March, without fans, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. FC Baník Ostrava is a professional association football, football club from Ostrava in the Czech Republic. The club competes in the Czech First League, the top tier of Czech football. Lukáš Provod (born 23 October 1996) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Czech First League club Slavia Prague and the Czech Republic national team. Club career Provod played in the Bohemian Football League in the 2015–16 season, representing Domažlice, who were operating as a farm team for his parent club Viktoria Plzeň. Liberec
Liberec (; ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 108,000 inhabitants, making it the fifth largest city in the country. Oscar Murphy Dorley (born 19 July 1998) is a Liberian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Slavia Prague and the Liberia national team. Life He was born in Monrovia. He was born Murphy Dorley, but one of his coaches started calling him Oscar because his physique and playing style reminded him of Brazilian footballer Oscar. David Hovorka (born 7 August 1993) is a retired professional Czech football defender. He played for four clubs in the Czech First League. Club career Hovorka spent most of his youth career in Sparta Prague, arriving from SK Kročehlavy in 2002 at nine years old.
