Đokić ( sr-Cyrl, Ђокић; also transliterated Djokić) is a Serbian surname, derived from the male given name "Đoka"/"Đoko", itself a diminutive of Đorđe (George). Vladan Đokić
Vladan Đokić (; born 20 September 1963) is a Serbian university professor and architect, who has served as rector of the University of Belgrade since 2021. Early life and education Đokić was born on 20 September 1963 in Belgrade, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Belgrade in 1988. As a student, he completed an internship at the architectural firm ''MM Architectes'' in Montreal. He obtained a master's degree in 1991 from the University of Southern California, School of Architecture and a PhD in 1998 from his alma mater, the University of Belgrade. Milan Đokić (politician)
Milan Đokić ( sr-cyr, Милан Ђокић; born 1972) is a politician in Serbia. He has been the mayor of Knjaževac since 2012. Previously, he served in the National Assembly of Serbia from 2007 to 2010 as a member of G17 Plus. Đokić is now a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (''Srpska napredna stranka'', SNS). Private career Đokić holds a bachelor's degree (1999) and a master's degree (2001) in physical culture from the University of Niš. He worked as a physical education teacher at the Knjaževac gymnasium from 1999 to 2001. Political career Đokić served as deputy mayor of Knjaževac from 2001 to 2004 and was the town's municipal manager from 2004 to 2007. Boško Đokić ( sr-cyr, Бошко Ђокић; 26 October 1953 – 26 January 2019) was a Serbian professional basketball coach and journalist. Coaching career Đokić coached teams in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Russia. Between August and November 2005, Đokić coached Avala Ada. Vladimir Đokić ( sr-cyr, Владимир Ђокић; born April 25, 1971) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for Vršac of the Basketball League of Serbia. Playing career A point guard, Đokić played 18 seasons in Yugoslavia, Slovakia, Hungary, Macedonia, and Serbia, between from 1990 and 2008.
