Milan Đokić (politician)
Milan Đokić ( sr-cyr, Милан Ђокић; born 1972) is a politician in Serbia. He has been the mayor of Knjaževac since 2012. Previously, he served in the National Assembly of Serbia from 2007 to 2010 as a member of G17 Plus. Đokić is now a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (''Srpska napredna stranka'', SNS). Private career Đokić holds a bachelor's degree (1999) and a master's degree (2001) in physical culture from the University of Niš. He worked as a physical education teacher at the Knjaževac gymnasium from 1999 to 2001. Political career Đokić served as deputy mayor of Knjaževac from 2001 to 2004 and was the town's municipal manager from 2004 to 2007. He was included on the electoral list of G17 Plus for the 2007 Serbian parliamentary election and was selected for a mandate after the list won nineteen seats. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia () is the ministry in the Government of Serbia which is in the charge of economy. The current minister is Adrijana Mesarović. History The Ministry of Economy was established on 3 March 2004 after the dissolution of the Ministry of Privatization and Economic Reconstruction which existed from 1991 to 2004. The Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations which existed from 1991 to 2007, merged into the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development in 2007. Over the years, it has changed many secondary areas of its jurisdiction. The United Peasant Party (, abbr. USS) is an agrarian political party in Serbia. Its primary area of strength is in the municipality of Svrljig. It is affiliated with the European People's Party in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. 2016 Serbian Local Elections
Local elections were held in most cities and municipalities of Serbia (excluding the disputed territory of Kosovo) on 24 April 2016, with repeat voting later taking place in some jurisdictions. The elections were held concurrently with the 2016 Serbian parliamentary election and the 2016 Vojvodina provincial election. Elections were not held for the City Assembly of Belgrade, as its members were elected on a different four-year cycle (although local assembly elections were held in the City of Belgrade's constituent municipalities). The electoral threshold, or election threshold, is the minimum share of votes that a candidate or political party requires before they become entitled to representation or additional seats in a legislature.
