Ýagmyrmyrat Annamyradow
Yagmyrmyrat Kulanmyradovich Annamyradov (; born 19 October 1982) is a retired Turkmen professional footballer, who played as defender. He was part of the Turkmenistan national team from 2007. Club career Yagmyrmyrat Annamyradow began his professional career in 1998 in SMM+ football team. In the Ýokary Liga perform for Köpetdag Aşgabat, Asudalyk, FC HTTU and FC Merw. On 2007 Annamyradow joined the Uzbek League club Navbahor Namangan. In 2009, he returned to Turkmenistan, to FC HTTU. Since 2010, the player of FC Balkan, is the team captain. On 2017, Annamyradow announced his retirement as a professional footballer. The Football Federation of the Balkan Region appreciated the contribution of Annamyradow to the development of football by presenting the player with commemorative prizes and a diploma. Nebit-Dag
Balkanabat (), formerly Nebit-Dag and Neftedag, is the administrative centre of Balkan Province, the largest province in Turkmenistan. It lies at the foot of the Balkan Daglary mountain range. Balkanabat is about 450 km west of Ashgabat and 160 km east of the seaport city of Türkmenbaşy. The city layout is a grid of apartment blocks called ''kvartal'' (quarters). The main streets are Magtymguly, Pervomayskiy and Gurbansoltan eje şaýoly. Etymology The town was founded in 1933 as Neftedag, meaning "Oil Mountain" (Russian ''neft'', "oil", and Turkmen ''dag'', "mountain"), as a settlement along one of the stations of the Trans-Caspian Railway. Balkan Region
Balkan Region () is the westernmost of the five regions of Turkmenistan. Clockwise from north it borders Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan (north); two provinces of Turkmenistan (east), Iran (south), and the Caspian Sea (west). The capital city is Balkanabat, formerly known as Nebit Dag. The region's boundaries are identical to those of the former ''Krasnovodsk Oblast''', a Soviet-era province of the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic with its capital in the city of Krasnovodsk. This oblast was liquidated and restored repeatedly in the 20th century, concluding with its abolition in 1988. However, the administrative boundaries of the region were restored in 1991 when Balkan Region was established with its capital being moved to Nebit Dag which was later renamed Balkanabat. The Turkmenistan Cup () is an annual knockout competition in men's domestic football in Turkmenistan. The Football Federation of Turkmenistan is the organising body of this competition, which has been run every year since its inception in 1993. The competition's most successful performer is Köpetdag Aşgabat with 7 trophies. The winner of the competition ordinarily got a spot in the AFC Challenge League (previously teams qualified for the AFC Cup) group stage. The cup winners play a match for the Turkmenistan Super Cup against the Ýokary Liga champions of the season. The 2013 AFC President's Cup was the ninth edition of the AFC President's Cup, a football competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for clubs from "emerging countries" in Asia.
