Érd HC
Érd NK is a Hungarian women's handball club from Érd, that play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I (NBI) after gained promotion in 2010. In the 2011–12 season Érd finished fourth in the NBI after losing the third place playoff series 1–2 against Siófok KC. However, it gave them access to their first European Cup, the 2012–13 Women's EHF Cup. One year later the team won its first medal in the elite after a double victory over Váci NKSE in the third place playoff. Érd Aréna
Érd (; ; , ) is a town in Pest County, Budapest metropolitan area, Hungary. It is a city with county rights. History The area has been inhabited since ancient times. Archaeological findings indicate that prehistoric humans lived here 50,000 years ago. Érd itself was first mentioned in documents in 1243. The name comes either from the word ('forest') or from ('stream'). During the Ottoman wars in Europe, Ottoman occupation of Hungary, Érd was captured by the Turks in 1543, after the castle of Székesfehérvár fell. The Turks built a motte-and-bailey, motte castle and a mosque here. During this time, the area was called Hamzsabég (Hamzabey). In 1684, the army led by Charles V, Duke of Lorraine defeated the Turks near Érd. In 1776, Érd became an ''oppidum'' (town). Kinga Debreczeni-Klivinyi (born 31 March 1992) is a Hungarian handballer for Moyra-Budaörs Handball and the Hungary national team. Career She was capped for Hungary in various age categories and finished second on the top scorers' list of the 2009 European Women's U-17 Handball Championship with 55 goals. A year later, on the European Open Championship in Sweden, Klivinyi clinched the sixth place with the national team and was voted into the all-star team as the best playmaker of the tournament. In appreciation of her outstanding performances in 2010, she won the Heraklész Award, a sports prize given to the individuals in the younger age groups, who represented Hungary in their sports the most successfully. Krisztina Triscsuk
Krisztina Triscsuk (; ; born 17 July 1985) is a retired Russian-Hungarian handballer for Alba Fehérvár KC. Since January 2024 she has been the sporting director at Alba Fehérvár KC. Club Career Triscsuk played until 2004 for the Russian team KSK Luch Moscow. She then joined Veszprém BKC for a season, before joining Alba Fehérvár KC. On 14 May 2011, in her sixth season by Fehérvár KC, she surpassed Beatrix Balogh's all-time league scoring record, who hit the back of the net 643 times while playing for the Székesfehérvár-based club. Triscsuk entered the court against Veszprém with only one goal short to the previous record and managed thirteen goals, thus becoming the new league topscorer of Fehérvár. In 2013 she joined Érd NK.
