Éamonn Fitzmaurice
Éamonn Fitzmaurice (born 1977) is an Irish former Gaelic football manager and player. He played at senior level for the Kerry county team and later managed it between 2012 and 2018, during which time he became a member of an exclusive club of people to have won All-Ireland SFC titles as a player and as a manager. He has been involved in 10 All Ireland wins - 1 minor, 2 under 21, 3 senior All Irelands as a player with Kerry, 1 All Ireland club junior with Finuge, 1 All Ireland junior club as coach with Fossa, 1 All Ireland as a selector and 1 All Ireland as a manager with Kerry. Since departing as Kerry manager, he has continued to write his renowned column with the ''Irish Examiner'' and is a co-commentator and analyst on ''The Sunday Game'' on RTÉ. Finuge GAA
Finuge is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Finuge, County Kerry, Ireland. The senior team currently competes in the Kerry Junior Football Championship. They also form part of the Feale Rangers divisional team that plays in the Kerry Senior Football Championship. Many of the players also play hurling with Lixnaw in the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship. Players from the club have won a total of 17 Senior All-Ireland Gaelic football medals. The club also supplied the Kerry GAA senior team manager from 2012-2018, Éamonn Fitzmaurice who took over from Jack O'Connor as manager of Kerry. Kerry Senior Hurling Championship
The Kerry Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as Garvey's SuperValu Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Kerry GAA, Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1889 for the top hurling teams in the County Kerry, county of Kerry in Ireland. The series of games are played during the summer months, with the county final currently being played in Austin Stack Park in August. Initially played a knock-out competition, the championship currently uses a double elimination tournament, double elimination format whereby each team is guaranteed at least two games. The McGrath Cup is a Gaelic football competition played each January in Munster Munster ( or ) is the largest of the four provinces of Ireland, located in the south west of the island. Kildare County Football Team
The Kildare county football team represents Kildare in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Kildare GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. Selector (sport)
In some team sports, a selector is a member of a selection panel which chooses teams or individuals to represent a country or club or other representative team in sporting competitions. Railway Cup
The GAA Interprovincial Championship () or Railway Cup (''Corn an Iarnróid'') is the name of two annual Gaelic football and hurling competitions held between the provinces of Ireland. The Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster GAA teams are composed of the best players from the counties in each province. The games are organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The Railway Cup was a revival of the Railway Shield which ran from 1905 to 1907 (football) and from 1905 to 1908 (hurling). The National Football League (NFL; ) is an annual Gaelic football competition between the senior county teams of Ireland plus London. Sponsored by Allianz, it is officially known as the Allianz National Football League. The Gaelic Athletic Association organises the league. The winning team receives the New Ireland Cup, presented by the New Ireland Assurance Company. The National Football League is the second most prestigious inter-county Gaelic Football competition after the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
