Semple Stadium
FBD Semple Stadium is the home of hurling and Gaelic football for Tipperary GAA and for the province of Munster. Located in Thurles, County Tipperary, it is the second largest GAA stadium in Ireland (after Croke Park), with a capacity of 45,690 and named after Tom Semple, the captain of the Thurles "Blues". He won All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship medals in 1900, 1906 and 1908. The stadium is the leading venue for Munster hurling followers, having hosted the Munster Senior Hurling Championship, Munster Hurling Final on many memorable occasions. The Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Cork GAA is one of the 32 County board (Gaelic games), county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Cork and the Cork county teams. Pádraic Maher
Pádraic Maher (born 9 February 1989) is an Irish former Hurling, hurler who previously played for Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship, Tipperary Senior Championship club Thurles Sarsfields GAA, Thurles Sarsfields and at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. He usually lined out as a centre-back. Playing career Thurles CBS Maher first came to prominence as a hurler with Thurles CBS. He played in every grade before eventually joining the senior hurling team as a 15-year-old. Tom Condon (hurler)
Tom Condon (born 9 November 1987) is an Irish hurler who plays for Limerick Intermediate Championship club Knockaderry. He is a former player with the Limerick senior hurling team, with whom he usually lines out as a right corner-back. Playing career Knockaderry Condon joined the Knockaderry club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before joining the club's top adult team. Limerick Minor and under-21 Condon first lined out for Limerick as a member of the minor team during the 2005 Munster Championship. Anthony Nash (hurler)
Anthony Nash (born 12 October 1984) is a retired Irish hurler who played for the Kanturk and Limerick Championship Club South Liberties clubs. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 15 seasons, during which time he lined out as a goalkeeper. Nash began his hurling career at club level with Kanturk. He broke onto the club's top adult team as a 16-year-old in 2001 and, after winning Intermediate and Premier Intermediate championship titles, he enjoyed his greatest success in 2018 when he claimed an All-Ireland Club Championship winners' medal in the intermediate grade. Nash's prowess also saw him being selected for divisional side Duhallow, Cork Institute of Technology and University College Cork, with whom he won a Fitzgibbon Cup medal in 2009. Railway Cup
The GAA Interprovincial Championship () or Railway Cup (''Corn an Iarnróid'') is the name of two annual Gaelic football and hurling competitions held between the provinces of Ireland. The Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster GAA teams are composed of the best players from the counties in each province. The games are organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The Railway Cup was a revival of the Railway Shield which ran from 1905 to 1907 (football) and from 1905 to 1908 (hurling).
