Ángel Alfonso Martínez Cervera (born September 4, 1965) is a Mexicans, Mexican football (soccer), football manager and former player. Ángel Martínez Cervera (born 31 January 1986), known simply as Ángel, is a Spanish retired professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Ángel Martínez Ortega (born 17 May 1991) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-back or a central defender. Club career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Martínez finished his development at RCD Espanyol. He made his senior debut for their reserves on 30 August 2009, starting in a 0–0 Segunda División B home draw against Sporting Mahonés CF. Ángel Martínez (born January 27, 2002) is a Dominican professional baseball infielder for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). Professional career Martínez signed with the Cleveland Indians as an international free agent on July 2, 2018. He is the organisation's spokesman on Madrid City Council, after having developed different positions inside the organisation.
