Prior to the Finals, he averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 threes made. For the Finals, they matched up against the Beermen. In a game against Australia in the July window, Pogoy hit Australian player Chris Goulding with two hard fouls, one away from the play. Kickert, Goulding's teammate, retaliated by giving a similar hard foul to Pogoy with his elbow and forearm. Kickert's response caused Blatche and
