This is a list of flag bearers who have represented Ireland at the Olympics. Flag bearers carry the national flag of their country at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. Men and women from across the country and from a variety of sports have carried the flag at both the Summer Olympic Games and the Winter Olympic Games. Firsts Athletes from Ireland competed alongside Great Britain for the first Olympic Games, entering their own team for the first time in 1924. Bolton
