Zulfiqer Russell
Zulfiqer Russell ( bn, জুলফিকার রাসেল; born 13 November 1977) is a Bangladeshi lyricist and journalist. He is currently the editor of the online news site, The Bangla Tribune. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyrics for the film ''Putro'' (2018). He was the winner of the Channel i Music Awards in 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2022 and also received the Mirchi Music Awards (Bangla) award for the Song of the Year in the Modern Song category for, "Shabuj Chilo". On 2020 he was awarded CJFB Performance Award 2019 as best lyricist. He had also worked with renowned Indian singers and composers including Grammy and Academy Award (Oscar) winner musician A. R. Rahman. He wrote the official theme song ‘Ektai Achhe Desh’ of the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh Independence sang by fifty renowned singers of Bangladesh. Samia Zaman is a Bangladeshi media personality, filmmaker. She was a television news presenter, reporter and talk show host. In 2006, she emerged as a film director. She also serves as the Editor and CEO of the television channel Ekattor TV. Career In 1989, Zaman started out her career as a producer at the BBC World Service in London. Tahsan Rahman Khan (Bengali:তাহসান রহমান খান; born 18 October 1979), known mononymously as Tahsan Khan or Tahsan, is a Bangladeshi musician and actor. He is the lead singer of his own rock band Tahsan and the Band. Born and raised in Dhaka, Tahsan first started his musical career with the alternative rock band Black. He later left the band and started his solo music career, his first solo album is ''Kothopokothon'' released in the year 2004.
