Zimbabwean Cricket Team In Pakistan In 2020–21
The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Pakistan in October and November 2020 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. All of the matches were played behind closed doors at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Pakistan's Babar Azam captained the team for the first time in ODI cricket. In the second ODI, Aleem Dar of Pakistan stood in his 210th ODI match as an on-field umpire, surpassing South African Rudi Koertzen's record of officiating in the most ODI matches. In the second T20I, Ahsan Raza of Pakistan stood in his 50th T20I match as an on-field umpire, becoming the first umpire to reach the milestone in T20I cricket. Mohammad Babar Azam (Urdu, pa, ; born 15 October 1994), is a Pakistani international cricketer and captain of the Pakistan national cricket team in all formats. Regarded as one of the finest batters in contemporary world cricket, he is the only cricketer in the world to be in the top five rankings across all formats. Rudi Koertzen
Rudolf Eric Koertzen (; 26 March 1949 – 9 August 2022) was a South African international cricket umpire. A cricket enthusiast since his youth, he played league cricket while working as a clerk for South African Railways. He began umpiring in 1981, before becoming a full-time official eleven years later. In an international career spanning 18 years, he officiated in a record 331 matches and is only behind Aleem Dar in officiating as an umpire in most international matches. Early life Koertzen was born in Knysna, Cape Province, Union of South Africa, on 26 March 1949. A medium pace bowler, he played for a top-level cricket club in Kimberley. Multan
Multan (; ) is a city in Punjab, Pakistan, on the bank of the Chenab River. Elton Chigumbura
Elton Chigumbura (born 14 March 1986) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played for Zimbabwe national cricket team between 2004 and 2020. He was educated at Churchill School (Harare) and made his debut at the age of 18, amidst the rebel crisis and has played 14 Test matches. Chigumbura is the most capped player in the current ODI squad with more than 200 caps. In May 2015 Chigumbura made his maiden ODI century, against Pakistan in Lahore, in his 174th ODI match. The Zimbabwe national cricket team toured Pakistan from November to December 1998 and played a three-match Test series against the Pakistan national cricket team. Zimbabwe won the opening Test by 7 wickets, their first overseas victory, and went on to win the series 1–0. Zimbabwe were captained by Alistair Campbell and Pakistan by Aamer Sohail. Result (cricket)
The result in a game of cricket may be a "win" for one of the two teams playing, or a "tie". In the case of a limited overs game, the game can also end with "no result" if the game can't be finished on time (usually due to weather or bad light), and in other forms of cricket, a "draw" may be possible.
