Zederhaus
Zederhaus is a municipality of the Tamsweg District in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Geography The Zederhaus Valley is located in the northwestern part of the Salzburg ''Lungau'' region, on the southern slopes of the Lower Tauern mountain range, reaching up to Mt Weißeck at . The crest of the Radstadt Tauern in the north separates it from the ''Pongau'' region. From the Rieding high valley, today a protected area, the Zederhaus creek flows southeastwards, reaching the upper Mur River at neighbouring Sankt Michael. The smaller village stream passes several historic watermills. The sparsely settled municipal area, the largest in the Tamsweg District, comprises the cadastral communities of Lamm, Rothenwand, Wald, and Zederhaus proper. The valley today is characterised by the construction of the Tauern Autobahn in the 1970s, a major north-south road connection which is part of the European route E55. Weißeck
The Weißeck () is the highest mountain in the Radstadt Tauern range in Austria and is popular, both as a ski touring destination in winter and a climbing peak in summer. It gets its name (which means "white corner") from the mighty block of light-coloured Wetterstein dolomite of which the mountain is made. The summit of the Weißeck is located on the municipal boundary between Muhr, in the national park, and Zederhaus, in the nature park. Bases for tours to the Weißeck are, on one side, the Riedingtal valley in Zederhaus, and, on the other, the Stickler Hut (1,752 m) in the upper Mur valley. The normal route from the Rieding gap along the western ridge to the top is signed and only requires a little sure-footedness, but is generally an easy climbing grade. Tauern Road Tunnel
The Tauern Road Tunnel is located on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in the Austrian federal state of Salzburg. The use is subject to a toll. With a length of (4.07 miles), the tunnel ranks as one of the longest frequently-travelled road tunnels in Austria. Location The tunnel crosses under the Radstadt Tauern range, the westernmost part of the larger Low Tauern group. The north portal is in the municipality of Flachau in St. Johann im Pongau District (''Pongau'' region), while the southern entrance is in Zederhaus in the Salzburg district of Tamsweg (''Lungau''). The nearby Radstädter Tauern Pass, about to the east, has historically been a possible crossing point of the Alpine crest. Salzburg

Sankt Michael Im Lungau
Sankt Michael im Lungau is a market town in the district of Tamsweg in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Geography It is located in the historic Lungau region, in the valley of the upper Mur river, north of Katschberg Pass on the border with the state of Carinthia. With a population of about 3,500, Sankt Michael is the second largest municipality in Tamsweg District. The municipal area comprises the cadastral communities of Höf, Oberweissburg, Sankt Martin im Lungau, Sankt Michael im Lungau, and Unterweissburg. European route E55 is an E-route.
