Zdeněk Kudrna
Zdeněk Kudrna (born 2 September 1946 in Čisovice, Czechoslovakia - died 1 June 1982) was an international speedway rider who reached he Speedway World Championship final in 1979. Kudrna first rode in the UK for the Exeter Falcons in 1979 with compatriots Aleš Dryml Sr., Jan Verner and Václav Verner. Petr Ondrašík (born 8 October 1951 in Brezolupy, Czechoslovakia) is a former Czechoslovak international motorcycle speedway rider. He earned 26 caps for the Czechoslovakian national speedway team. Career Ondrašík reached the World Final four times. He finished runner-up three times in the Czech speedway Championship. He rode in the United Kingdom for the Wolverhampton Wolves (1980), Eastbourne Eagles (1983) and the Birmingham Brummies (1983). Family Petr, the father of former Trelawny Tigers rider Pavel Ondrašík, is now an international referee. Jiří Štancl (born 18 November 1949 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider from Czechoslovakia. Career Štancl reached the final of the Speedway World Championship on nine occasions between 1971 and 1984, finishing a career best 9th in 1982 in Los Angeles. He won the Czechoslovakian National Championship twelve times, has appeared in the World Team Cup finals on seven occasions and in the Speedway World Pairs Championship finals seven times. Štancl won the famed Golden Helmet of Pardubice in 1974, 1976, 1978, 1981 and 1982. Family His son, George, is also a rider. White City Stadium
White City Stadium was a stadium located in White City, London, England. Built for the 1908 Summer Olympics, it hosted the finish of the first modern marathon and other sports like swimming, speedway, boxing, show jumping, athletics, stock car racing, concerts and a match at the 1966 World Cup.
