Yiaway Yeh
Yiaway Yeh (Chinese: 葉亞威; ''Yè Yàwēi'') is former city councilmember and mayor of Palo Alto, California. He was elected to office in 2007 and was elected to mayor by the city council of Palo Alto on January 3, 2012. Yeh is the second youngest mayor in Palo Alto history and the first Taiwanese American to hold the office. He was born in San Francisco, and attended JLS Middle School and Gunn High School in Palo Alto. Yeh received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the American University School of Public Affairs and his graduate degree in Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Yeh volunteered for the Peace Corps in Burkino Faso developing local NGO's. Before being elected Yeh was working for the City of Oakland as an auditor. Mei County, Guangdong
Meixian (, Hakka: Moiyen), formerly Meihsien, is a district (China), district of Meizhou, Meizhou City, in northeastern Guangdong, Guangdong Province, China. The county is an important Hakka settlement and is the ancestral home of many Hakka descendants living in Taiwan. The Hakka (), sometimes also referred to as Hakka Han, or Hakka Chinese, or Hakkas are a Han Chinese subgroup whose ancestral homes are chiefly in the Hakka-speaking provincial areas of Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Sichuan, Hunan, Zhejiang, Hainan, Guizhou in China, as well as in Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Pingtung County, and Kaohsiung City in Taiwan. KTSF (channel 26) is a multicultural independent television station licensed to San Francisco, California, United States, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. The station is owned by the Lincoln Broadcasting Company, and maintains studios on Valley Drive in south suburban Brisbane. Through a channel sharing agreement with Univision owned-and-operated station KDTV-DT (channel 14), the two stations transmit using KDTV-DT's spectrum from an antenna atop Mount Allison. Karl Dean
Karl Foster Dean (born September 20, 1955) is an American politician who served as the 6th Mayor of Nashville, Tennessee from 2007 to 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as Nashville's Director of Law under Mayor Bill Purcell from 1999 to 2007. In 1990, 1994 and 1998, he was elected the city's public defender. Dean, an attorney by occupation, is currently an adjunct professor of law at Vanderbilt University Law School.
