Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. Jonna Opitz (born 22 July 1969) is a Swedish former professional tennis player. She played under the name Jonna Jonerup. Biography Jonerup reached a best singles ranking of 147 in the world competing on the professional tour. In 1988 she was a quarter-finalist at the Taipei Women's Championships and had a win over Jana Novotná at the European Indoors in Zurich.
