Personal life He is an older brother of Andrey Svirkov, who is also former professional football goalkeeper. Babruysk, Babrujsk or Bobruisk ( be, Бабруйск , Łacinka: , rus, Бобруйск, Bobrujsk, bɐˈbruɪ̯s̪k, yi, באָברויסק ) is a city in the Mogilev Region of eastern Belarus on the Berezina River. , its population was 209,675. The name Babrujsk (as well as that of the Babruyka River) probably originates from the Belarusian word (; ' beaver'), many of which used to inhabit the Berezina. JK Narva Trans, commonly known as Narva Trans or just Trans, are a professional Estonian association football club based in Narva that compete in the Meistriliiga, the top flight of Estonian football. The 1995–96 Belarusian Cup was the fifth season of the annual Belarusian football cup competition. Contrary to the league season, it is conducted in a fall-spring rhythm. It began on 4 August 1995 with the first of five rounds and ended on 17 May 1996 with the final at the Dinamo Stadium in Minsk. FC Dinamo-93 Minsk were the defending champions, having defeated FC Torpedo Mogilev in the 1995 final, but were knocked out in the semifinal by FC Dinamo Minsk, the eventual finalists. The 1996 Belarusian Premier League was the sixth season of top-tier football in Belarus. It started on 16 April and ended on 10 November 1996. Dinamo Minsk were the defending champions. Team changes from 1995 season Bobruisk, who finished in the last place, have relegated and immediately dissolved after 1995 season. They were replaced by the newcomers Naftan-Devon Novopolotsk, who won the First League in 1995. Dvina Vitebsk changed their name to Lokomotiv-96 Vitebsk and Shinnik Bobruisk were renamed to Belshina Bobruisk. Torpedo Mogilev changed name to Torpedo-Kadino Mogilev in the middle of the season (in September). The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier.
