Evgenia Radanova ( bg, Евгения Раданова; born 4 November 1977) is a Bulgarian female short track speed skater and racing cyclist who has participated in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. She was the world record holder in the 500 m short track distance with 43.671s, which she set in Calgary, Canada on 19 October 2001. In the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic games she won a silver medal at the same distance and a bronze at 1500m. In Athens 2004 Summer games she took part in cycling, but did not get a medal. In the 2010 Vancouver Olympics in the women's 500 m she ended up 7th. Yevgeniya Sergeyevna Chirikova ( rus, Евге́ния Серге́евна Чи́рикова: born 12 November 1976 in Moscow) is a Russian environmental activist, primarily known for opposing the building of a motorway through Khimki Forest near Moscow. She has also played a prominent role in the 2011–2013 Russian protests following disputed parliamentary elections in Russia. Chirikova has also been credited with "stimulating nationwide interest in political reform". She is currently based in Estonia. Yevgenia Yakovlevna Bugoslavskaya (21 December 1899 – 30 May 1960) was a Soviet astronomer. She had a lifelong career in astronomy and became professor of astronomy at Moscow University. Evgenia Andreevna Zabolotskaya (1935–2020) was a Russian-American physicist known for her contributions to nonlinear acoustics. the Khokhlov–Zabolotskaya equation and Khokhlov–Zabolotskaya–Kuznetsov equation in nonlinear acoustics are named in part for her.
