Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation (YASPC) () is a sovereign government corporation that supervises the management of Yemeni ports in the Arabian Sea, mainly Port of Mukalla in Hadramawt, Port of Socotra, and Port of Nashtoon in al-Mahara. The YASPC was established on 28 April 2007 as part of the Ministry of Transport. Hadhramaut or Hadramawt or Hadramout ( ar, حضرموت ''Ḥaḍramawt'') is a governorate of Yemen. Lying within the large historical region of Hadhramaut, it is the country's largest governorate. The Port of Socotra is a port in Yemen. It is located in Socotra Governorate. History The port was constructed in 1996 with a 45-meter berth and a 5-meter draft. Port Of Nashtoon
The Port of Nashtoon is a Yemeni seaport located in Al-Mahra Governorate in the Arabian Sea. History Established as a multi-purpose seaport to serve commercial and fishery traffic, the seaport was opened in April 1984. The port has one multipurpose berth of 210-meter and a 7-meter draft at the top of the berth. In 2010 the port was rehabilitated. Dhabba Oil Terminal () is a key Yemeni oil port. It lies western of Ash-Shihr town in Yemen's eastern Hadramawt on the Arabian Sea. The Dhabba Oil Terminal is mainly used to export oil and gas from Hadramawt governorate. October 2022 attack On 21 October 2022 the terminal was targeted with drones for the first time by Yemen's rebel Houthi movement. The Yemeni government said it intercepted Houthi armed drones launched against al-Dhabba oil terminal when a Greek-owned oil tanker "Nissos" was preparing to dock to load 2 million barrels of crude from the terminal. There was no damage to the port and the tanker, but the Greek company said the attack targeted a Marshall Islands-flagged tanker, the Nissos Kea.
