Yedidia Vital ( he, ידידיה ויטל; born 2 October 1984) is an Israeli actor. Known for portraying the protagonist of the Israeli television series ''Split'' and ''HaShminiya''. Biography Yedidia Vital was born on 2 October 1984 at a hospital in Ramallah, to Jewish-Israeli parents. He grew up in Pardes Hanna-Karkur, Israel. However he moved to Tel Aviv to become an actor. At first he has lived off of temporary work to pay the rent. Then attended the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Tel Aviv, where he was trained as an actor. From 2009-2012 he played one of the main character in the Israeli television series Split. Pardes Hanna-Karkur ( he, פַּרְדֵּס חַנָּה-כַּרְכּוּר) is a town in the Haifa District of Israel. In it had a population of . History An Arab village named Karkur had stood at this location by the time the Palestine Exploration Fund had compiled its first maps in 1878. In 1913, 15 square kilometers of land was purchased by the Hachsharat Hayishuv society from Arabs in Jenin and Haifa for 400,000 francs (a sum equivalent to 2 million US dollars). Two years later, the land was sold to a private investor, Yitzhak Shlezinger, the Odessa Committee and the First London Ahuza society. This land became the core of Karkur, Moshav Gan Hashomron and Kibbutz Ein Shemer. Until actual settlement began, the area was guarded by Hashomer, which planted eucalyptus trees to circumvent a Turkish law that allowed the Ottomans to expropriate lands if they were not cultivated for three years. ''Split'' ( he, חֲצוּיָה, ''Khatzuya'') is an Israeli supernatural drama series. It is directed by Shai Kapon and airs on the HOT VOD Young channel. ''HaShminiya'' ( he, הַשְּׁמִינִיָּה; ''The Eight'') is a television series that was broadcast on the Israeli channel Arutz HaYeladim in Hot (Israel), HOT. Although the show was designated for children and teenagers, it was also popular with adults. The TV series was split into two parts eight and the eight the next generation Seasons Season 1 Amos Dvir, Avner HaLevy and Roberto, three scientists, investigate brain, cerebral energy called "The Lambda Ripples". They want to have an experiment that will involve six gifted kids. However, Avner and Amos decide to delay it for a few years. Disappointed, Roberto co-operates with Lillie Dvir, Amos's wife, and the two conduct the experiment on Amos and Lillie's children, three-year-old Maya and Jonathan.
