Yasser Hashemi Rafsanjani
Yasser Hashemi Rafsanjani ( fa, یاسر هاشمی رفسنجانی; born 1971) is the youngest son of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former president of Iran. Biography In 1989, he graduated from Nikan High School in Tehran, which was funded by a conservative religious group before Iran's revolution in order to provide the students, from elementary to high school, with a non-secular education. In the same year, he entered University of Tehran to study civil engineering but later changed his major. Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani
Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani ( fa, اکبر هاشمی رفسنجانی, Akbar Hāshemī Rafsanjānī, born Akbar Hashemi Bahramani, 25 August 1934 – 8 January 2017) was an Iranian politician, writer, and one of the founding fathers of the Islamic Republic who was the fourth president of Iran from 1989 to 1997. He was the head of the Assembly of Experts from 2007 until 2011 when he decided not to nominate himself for the post. He was also the chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council. Nikan High School
Nikan High School ( fa, مدرسهٔ نیکان) is a boys-only school located in the north of Tehran, Iran. Nikan is an ancient Persian-Zoroastrian name meaning "all the goodness in the world". The school is closely associated with Alavi High School. Nikan graduates have strong ties and form communities in different parts of the world, especially in Europe and North America. Each class has a designated number called "doreh" which shows the number of years from the foundation of the school after which the class entered the first grade (primary school).
