Yasmin Daswani
Yasmin Daswani (born 21 September 1994) is an English-born Hong Kong women's cricketer and lawyer who represents the Hong Kong national women's national cricket team in international cricket. In February 2022, Daswani was announced as a player in the 2022 FairBreak Invitational T20 – an ICC sanctioned competition that will take place on May 1–15, 2022 in Dubai in conjunction with Cricket Hong Kong. The six-team tournament is made up of players from all around the world and will be the world’s first privately funded tournament in women’s cricket history with the leading healthcare group Gencor as the lead sponsor. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Hongkongers (), also known as Hong Kongers, Hong Kongese, Hongkongese, Hong Kong citizens and Hong Kong people, typically refers to residents of the territory of Hong Kong; although may also refer to others who were born and/or raised in the territory.
