Yanaki Smirnov
Yanaki Smirnov ( bg, Янаки Смирнов; born 20 December 1992) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a forward for Dorostol. Career Early career Yanaki moved to Greece with his family where he started his career in the local Panathinaikos. A year later his family returned to his hometown of Varna, where he joined Spartak Varna's academy. He spent one year in Hristo Stoichkov's academy at the Vilafranca football club. After that he joined Litex Lovech academy. He later moved again to Spartak Varna. Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa In the summer of 2014, Smirnov signed with the B Group team Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa. He scored a goal in his debut for Loko against Loko Mezdra. He scored 13 goals in his first 9 matches. He became the top goalscorer of B Group with 23 goals scored in 26 matches. Spartak II ( bg, Спартак II) or Spartak 2 is a Bulgarian football team based in Varna. Founded in 2021, it is the reserve team of Spartak Varna, and currently plays in Third League, the third level of Bulgarian football. Obliged to play one level below their main side, Spartak II is ineligible for promotion to First League and also can not compete in the Bulgarian Cup. 2012–13 B Group
The 2012–13 B Group was the 58th season of the Bulgarian B Football Group, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system. It started on 19 August 2012 and finished in May 2013. On 15 June the Executive Committee of Bulgarian Football Union decided to reduce further the number of teams due licensing problems in most of the clubs and reuniting the teams into one league. The new format will consist of 14 teams, playing twice against each other, once home and once away. A group of 16 teams was intended at first, but two teams decided to drop off the competition before the start of the season. In contrast to the previous season, there was be no 'promotion play-off', a decision made by the BFU to reduce the number of teams at A PFG. Bulgarian Supercup
The Bulgarian Supercup ( bg, Суперкупа на България) is the trophy won in a football match held between the football club that has won the Bulgarian first football division in the season that ended in the year of the match and the holder of the Bulgarian Cup at that time. In case the champion of Bulgaria has also won the cup, the Bulgarian Cup finalist competes with the champion in the match for the trophy. The Supercup match is usually held during the weekend before the start of a new season. Since 2004 the Supercup game has been an annual event. The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it.
