Yael Ron Ben-Moshe
Yael Ron Ben-Moshe ( he, יָעֵל רוֹן בֶּן מֹשֶׁה, born 14 November 1978) is an Israeli politician. She was a member of the Knesset for Blue and White between 2020 and 2022. Biography Born in kibbutz Ga'aton, Ron Ben-Moshe studied for bachelor's and master's degrees at Tel Aviv University. Married, with three children, she managed employment programmes for the Israel branch of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and worked in the Prime Minister's Office. In 2015 she was appointed manager of a regional partnership of local authorities in the Western Galilee. She was placed fortieth on the Blue and White list for the March 2020 elections. Ga'aton
Ga'aton ( he, גַּעְתּוֹן) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the western Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Asher Regional Council. In it had a population of . Etymology The name Ga'aton is taken from the Ga'aton River that passes nearby and flows through Nahariya into the Mediterranean Sea. Ga'aton, in the past transliterated as Gaathon, is also the name of a biblical town in the allotment of Asher, located at one of the ancient tells (mounds) near the kibbutz. A kibbutz ( he, קִבּוּץ / , lit. "gathering, clustering"; plural: kibbutzim / ) is an intentional community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture. The first kibbutz, established in 1909, was Degania. Today, farming has been partly supplanted by other economic branches, including industrial plants and high-tech enterprises. Kibbutzim began as utopian communities, a combination of socialism and Zionism. In recent decades, some kibbutzim have been privatized and changes have been made in the communal lifestyle. Knesset
The Knesset ( he, הַכְּנֶסֶת ; "gathering" or "assembly") is the unicameral legislature of Israel. As the supreme state body, the Knesset is sovereign and thus has complete control of the entirety of the Israeli government (with the exception of checks and balances from the courts and local governments). The Knesset passes all laws, elects the president and prime minister (although the latter is ceremonially appointed by the President), approves the cabinet, and supervises the work of the government, among other things.
