Kangqiao
Kangqiao forms part of suburban Shanghai and has a land area of and is a subdistrict of Pudong. At the Sixth National Census the population of Kangqiao stood at 174,672. Pudong
Pudong is a district of Shanghai located east of the Huangpu, the river which flows through central Shanghai. The name ''Pudong'' was originally applied to the Huangpu's east bank, directly across from the west bank or Puxi, the historic city center. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. Line 16 is a rapid transit line serving the south-eastern suburban areas of Shanghai. The line was formerly known as the Lingang line (). It was originally designated as Line 21 and was planned as the south part of line 11.
