Xishi, Fuxing
Xishi Village () is a rural village in Fuxing Township, Changhua County, Taiwan with a population of 2342, and an area of 0.9746 km2. Xishi Village is bordered on the North by Lugang Township, on the South by Tongan township. Most people in the area emigrated from the neighbouring town of Lugang. Sights HuangShen Gong (Holy Emperor Temple) Built in 1982 and serves as the village religious centre. Produce Specialties of the area include Dried Carrot strips. The production of this specialty used to be the sole means of income for many villagers in the past. There remain very few family producers still in operation. Changhua County
Changhua County (Mandarin Pinyin: ''Zhānghuà Xiàn''; Wade-Giles: ''Chang¹-hua⁴ Hsien⁴''; Hokkien POJ: ''Chiang-hòa-koān'' or ''Chiong-hòa-koān'') is the smallest county on the main island of Taiwan by area, and the fourth smallest in the country. Lukang, Changhua
Lukang, formerly romanized as Lugang and also known by #Name, other names, is an township (Taiwan), urban township in northwestern Changhua County, Taiwan. The township is on the west coast of Taiwan, facing the Taiwan Strait. Lukang was an important sea port in the 18th century and 19th century. It was the most populous city in central Taiwan until the early 20th century. In March 2012, it was named one of the ''Top 10 Small Tourist Towns'' by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan. Carrot
The carrot ('' Daucus carota'' subsp. ''sativus'') is a root vegetable, typically orange in color, though purple, black, red, white, and yellow cultivars exist, all of which are domesticated forms of the wild carrot, ''Daucus carota'', native to Europe and Southwestern Asia.
