X-Men Destiny
''X-Men: Destiny'' is an action role-playing video game based on the ''X-Men'' comic book series. It was developed by Silicon Knights. Written by Mike Carey, the writer of the '' X-Men: Legacy'' comic book series, it was published and released by Activision for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 consoles. Along with many other games published by Activision that had used a Marvel license, ''X-Men: Destiny'' was de-listed and subsequently removed from all digital storefronts on January 1, 2014. Due to legal issues between Silicon Knights and Epic Games over the misuse of Unreal Engine 3 code, both ''X-Men: Destiny'' and another game, ''Too Human'', were recalled, and had their unsold copies destroyed. Silicon Knights
Silicon Knights was a Canadian video game developer. Founded in 1992 by Denis Dyack, the company was headquartered in St. Catharines, Ontario. They started developing for computers such as the Atari ST and IBM PC compatibles. After 1996, they moved to console titles. Dyack left Silicon Knights to form a new game studio, Precursor Games, after the loss of a court case against Epic Games over the game engine Unreal Engine 3. Epic Games won the case and a counter-suit for $4.45 million on grounds of copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of contract. Following the case, Silicon Knights filed for bankruptcy on May 16, 2014. Games Released Silicon Knights' first games were real-time strategy/action hybrids for computers. Havok (Alexander Summers) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. He first appears in ''The X-Men'' #54 (March 1969), and was created by writer Arnold Drake and penciller Don Heck. Juggernaut (Cain Marko) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
