Wolfhound (2006 Film)
''Wolfhound of the Grey Hound Clan'' (russian: Волкодав из рода Серых Псов, Volkodav iz roda Serykh Psov) is a 2006 Russian slavic fantasy film directed by Nikolai Lebedev, based on the novel of the same name by Maria Semenova. With one of the biggest film budgets in the history of Russian cinema (including work done in post production by international studios), the film was a notable success in its homeland. Although the film did not see widespread theatrical release in the English speaking world, international distributors such as Central Partnership and Momentum Pictures have produced English language home video versions which have met with some critical acclaim. Nikolai Igorevich Lebedev (russian: Николай Игоревич Лебедев; born 16 November 1966) is a Russian film director, screenwriter and film producer. Born in Kishinev (now Chișinău), Soviet Union (now Moldova). He is best known as the director, writer, and producer of Wolfhound (2007) and Legend № 17 (2013), both of which became well grossing films in Russian cinema. Juozas Budraitis (born 6 October 1940) is a Lithuanian actor. He has appeared in more than 60 films and television shows since 1966. He starred in the Soviet film ''Wounded Game'', which was entered into the 1977 Cannes Film Festival.
